Who We Are
The RCDCA is a fraternity of RCDC and CFDS personnel, military
and civilian, serving and retired. Membership in the RCDCA is by application
for those who are eligible.

The RCDCA is a member of the Conference of Defence Associations (CDA)
whose purpose is to represent all organisations like the RCDCA in order
to advise the government of the day, through the Minister of National
Defence, concerning the Canadian Forces. The CDA also promotes the values
of the Canadian Forces to the Canadian public.
The objectives of the RCDCA are to:
- Promote the efficiency of the CFDS.
- Bring to the attention of the proper authorities recommendations
that will assist the Director of Dental Service (DDS) to improve the
efficiency of the CFDS.
- Liaise with DDS in order to offer advice and meaningful recommendations
to the CDA.
- Foster and preserve the esprit de corps, friendship and identity
that are characteristic of service in the RCDC and CFDS.
- Keep all RCDCA members current on administrative and social events.
- Organize appropriate RCDCA meetings and social events and inform
its members.
- Participate in the maintenance and display of items of historical
value to military dentistry.
- Support and promote the defence of Canada through membership in the
CDA.
RCDCA membership eligibility rules are as follows:
1. Regular Membership
- Former personnel of the RCDC and CFDS.
- Serving CFDS personnel.
2. Associate Membership
Associate membership may be granted to persons who have demonstrated
qualities and interests consistent with the objectives of the association.
